Intra granular porosity of mineral powders: modeling and experimentation

چکیده
Recycled concrete aggregate (RCA) possess high water absorption, due to the porosity of attached hardened cement paste they contain. Fine particles RCA are composed larger amounts paste, which makes their valorization even more difficult in or mortar. One way valorize these fine could be use them as mineral addition, however absorption coefficient has determined, is tricky for powders. The objective this work estimate remaining intra granular a ground powder using two different original approaches. first modelling approach considers that porous monolith material series pores with characteristic volumes. A pore considered opened grinding if it cut by surface particle and its size than smallest inter pore. after computed from distribution powder. second experimental based on mercury intrusion porosimetry tests performed separation between allows estimation powder’s porosity. obtained results show good agreement approaches case disconnected pores.
